Test the complete physical setup
A teleprompter display may be viewed directly or reflected through glass near a camera lens. The correct transformation depends on that setup. Use the horizontal mirror control, and the vertical flip if required, then read several lines through the actual viewing path. The controls remain outside the transformed script area so they stay usable.
Fullscreen removes surrounding page content when the browser allows it. If native fullscreen is unavailable, the expanded focus view provides a larger reader inside the current browser window. Neither option changes the camera framing or creates a video recording. Use your normal recording application separately and check that its controls remain accessible.
Build a dependable control routine
Practice pausing and resuming before a real take. Space and K toggle the reader when the reading area has focus. Arrow keys adjust speed or move by a line, while Home returns to the beginning. Shortcuts are ignored while you type in an editor or form control, so ordinary text entry does not unexpectedly start the script.
A bookmark points to the start of a paragraph rather than a guessed spoken word. This makes it useful after a display resize, but it cannot tell you where you stopped speaking inside a long paragraph. Split a long section into clear paragraphs when you need more precise rehearsal navigation.
Keep display changes visible in your review
Changing font size, line spacing, column width or the available viewport changes the physical reading layout. An active take pauses when that reflow changes the scroll range. Its history is flagged so the comparison does not quietly present it as an equivalent uninterrupted run.
After adjusting the setup, review the reading position and begin a fresh take if you need a clean comparison. Keep a project download with the script and preferred display settings. A saved configuration is a starting point for another device, not a guarantee that every browser size, mirror or camera arrangement will need exactly the same layout.
